Xpeng's Iron humanoid features 82 degrees of freedom (22 per hand), a biomimetic spine for natural bending, full-body soft skin with embedded touch sensors, and 720-degree Eagle-Eye vision powered by three proprietary Turing AI chips delivering 2,250 TOPS. Runs Xpeng's VLT (Vision-Language-Task) brain architecture adapted from the company's autonomous driving stack. Uses industry-first solid-state batteries. Xpeng broke ground on a 110,000 sqm dedicated factory in Q1 2026 with mass production targeted for late 2026.
