About
The HMND 01 Alpha Wheeled is a dual-armed wheeled mobile manipulator from UK-based Humanoid, unveiled in September 2025. Standing 2.20 m tall with 29 active degrees of freedom (excluding end-effectors), it reaches speeds up to 7.2 km/h and carries a 15 kg bimanual payload - more when objects are held closer to the body - with a working reach from floor to 2 m and up to 60 cm of shelf depth. End-effectors swap between a 12-DoF five-fingered hand and a 1-DoF parallel gripper. It targets repetitive, physically demanding industrial tasks: picking and sorting goods, machine feeding, kitting, loading and unloading inventory, and packaging and fulfillment. All autonomy runs on Humanoid's proprietary KinetIQ framework.
Deployment Notes
Schaeffler signed a binding phased deployment agreement (reported ~1,000 wheeled units across its global production network by 2032) and is also a preferred actuator supplier (>50% of joint requirements through 2031). Bosch (Robert Bosch Robotics GmbH) is contract manufacturer, with reported capacity up to 100,000 units. Part of a company-reported 34,000 pre-orders worth $2.4B ahead of commercial shipments (self-reported).
