Clone Robotics' P1 takes a radical approach to humanoid design: replicating human musculoskeletal architecture with 206 degrees of freedom driven by fluid-powered artificial muscles called Myofibers. The result is the most anatomically accurate robot hand ever built, capable of gestures and fine manipulation completely intractable for motor-and-gearbox designs. Clone is a bootstrapped Polish startup pursuing a vision of robots that are manufacturable at scale using biologically-inspired components rather than expensive precision hardware.
