Foundation Robotics

Foundation Robotics is a San Francisco-based defense robotics company developing the Phantom MK-1, a humanoid robot designed for military and tactical operations. The Phantom MK-1 is capable of operating firearms including pistols, shotguns, and M16 rifles. As of March 2026, two units are reportedly deployed on the Ukrainian front lines, marking one of the first known active-duty deployments of humanoid robots in a combat zone.
