Fauna Robotics

Fauna Robotics is a New York City-based humanoid startup building the Sprout — the smallest (107 cm) and lightest (22.7 kg) humanoid platform, explicitly designed as a developer tool. Full SDK support for Python/C++, ROS 2, and NVIDIA IsaacSim, VR teleoperation via Meta Quest, and a soft exterior with backdrivable motors make Sprout the most accessible hardware platform for AI robotics researchers. Raised $17M in a Series B in February 2025.
